DropKit

For independent music artists

Turn your release into a drop.

Premium release pages with countdown, audio preview, fan capture, and your own checkout. Built for the moment, not the catalog. Setup takes under five minutes.

Free to use. 10% per sale. No monthly fee.

Release pages that feel like the moment.

Generic Stripe-page-with-a-cover doesn't move fans. Every drop page comes with the experience tools that make a release feel like an event, on mobile especially.

Six premium themes

Pick a vibe per drop. Daylight, Monolith, Vinyl, Neon, Gothic, or Sunset. Each one comes with its own color palette and headline font. No custom CSS, no design work for you.

Persistent audio preview

Upload a 15 to 60 second snippet of the track. Plays in a sticky bottom bar that follows the fan down the page. They hear the song while they read.

From the artist

Add a YouTube or Vimeo embed, plus an optional voice note recorded on your phone. Fans love hearing you say something directly to them. Intimate. Hard to fake.

Pre, live, and post

Your page transforms as your release moves through its lifecycle. Countdown and early access before drop day. Streaming links and supporter bonus after.

Build your audience while you sell to them.

Every fan who buys, every fan who signs up to be notified, all of it captured automatically. Your master email list rolls up across every drop with source attribution and conversion data attached. Download the CSV any time. Take it wherever you send email.

Pre-release notify form is consent-aware out of the box. Your fans, your relationship, your list to take with you.

Know which channels are actually working.

See your funnel from view to signup to sale. Find out which posts, platforms, and traffic sources actually convert. See where in the world your fans are buying from. Filter by drop or roll it all up across your catalog.

Every link you share is automatically tagged so attribution works without you having to think about it.

Four ways to make money on the same page.

Pick what fits the drop. Run all four at once if it makes sense.

Early access

A song fans hear before it drops. The offer locks the moment your public release date passes.

Exclusive

A fan-only download fans can buy any time. Already-released tracks, alt versions, or files you will never put on streaming.

Bundles

Two or more files at one price. Stems, alt mixes, artwork, anything you want to pack together.

Pay-what-you-want

Set a minimum, let fans pay more. Add suggested tiers like Standard, Loyal Fan, OG Supporter. Works on tips and on any other offer too.

Free to use. We only earn when you do.

No monthly fee. No setup cost. DropKit takes a flat 10% of each sale. Stripe charges its standard processing fee on top of that. Funds settle to your own Stripe account on your usual payout schedule.

10%per sale

Built for the artist running their own release.

DropKit sits next to your distributor, your social, and your inbox. It is not a label, not a streaming platform, not a Web3 gimmick. It is a clean tool for moving fans from a stream to a sale, and for keeping the relationship after.

Common questions.

How much does DropKit cost?

DropKit is free to use. We take 10% of each sale. Stripe charges its standard processing fee on top of that, the same way it would on any other platform. No monthly fee. No setup cost.

Who keeps the customer relationship?

You do. Payments go to your Stripe account directly. Every fan email is saved against your drop and rolled up into a master list across your catalog. Download the CSV any time and take it wherever you send email.

Can fans pay what they want?

Yes. Tip offers are pay-what-you-want by default. Early access, exclusives, and bundles can also be flipped to pay-what-you-want above a minimum price. Suggested tier buttons make it one tap on mobile.

What kind of files can I sell?

Any audio, image, or document up to a reasonable size. WAV, MP3, FLAC, ZIP, PDF, JPG, PNG all work.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Drop pages and the dashboard are designed mobile first. Fans complete checkout on Stripe Checkout which is touch friendly out of the box. Most of your traffic will come from social, which means mobile.

Do I need a record label or a distributor?

No. DropKit sits next to whatever you already use to distribute streams. It is built for independent artists running their own release.

What about my pre-release fans?

Every drop page shows a notify-me form before release day. Fans drop their email with explicit consent and you see them in your fan list the same way as paying supporters. After release, you can email them on their drop day.

Can I see where my fans came from?

Yes. Stats show you views, signups, sales, revenue, and conversion by traffic source. You also see your fans broken down by country. So you know which posts and which platforms actually move your audience.

Your next release can pay you back.
